Christmas Eve Service will be held at St Matthias

Holiday Greetings,  

    In this time of holiday joy I would like to express my heart felt thanks to all of St Matthias’ parishioners who have stayed by us throughout the whole process of becoming one with Christ Church. It has been a very hard road that we have been traveling but I know that it will be getting smoother with Rev. Beth as our Vicar in charge until we vote on a merge.

    If you haven’t been able to meet Rev Beth you will find that she has features that we have not had at St Matthias for quite some time. I have had the pleasure to be working with her for the last five months and I can tell you she puts her heart and soul into all she does, and she also goes above and beyond the call of duty working well over her half time position.

    On Christmas Eve this year, St Matthias will have a service at 5:00 pm, a 7:00pm and 11:00pm will be held at Christ Church, Rev Beth will be celebrating at all 3 services, going forward all Sunday services will be held at Christ Church, there is a 9am with church school starting at 8:50 and a 11am service weekly.

    I will still be serving as your Senior Warden, and we will still have our own budget until the time a merge vote takes place, I am available for your calls however you should be contacting Rev Beth for your pastoral needs.

    On behalf of the bishops committees of St Matthias and Christ Church and my family I would like to wish everyone a Happy, Blessed and prosperous holiday season.
